Calling all Auburn Fans...DEPARTURE from AU, Bound for a WIN
We're leaving for the big game today! First stop, VEGAS! I'm getting sooooooooo excited. EXCEPT, one small detail...I hate flying! I'm getting slightly anxious. I actually haven't flown since high school, so it's been...well, it's been a long time. :) I don't remember not liking to fly in the past, but since then I have developed a fear! I looked it up. AEROPHOBIA. Yep. I even looked up some TECHNIQUES TO OVERCOME YOUR FEAR OF FLYING. Childish, I know. Now, I don't actually believe I have aerophobia, rather just a few butterflies. I really don't why I'm having this issue? I've never had a bad experience or anything traumatic happen to me. I guess it's just the thought of it? Or maybe because I haven't in so long? Who knows. Maybe today will restore my faith in that flying ohhhh 30,000 feet above this beautiful earth that God so graciously created for us to inhabit is actually safe! Despite reeeeeally not wanting to fly, I definitely do not want to drive! That would be one looooong drive to Arizona. With all that said, pray my excitement overcomes the anxiety! And WAR EAGLE!!! I'll see ya when I get back, hopefully! :)

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
I apologize for the lack of posts over the holidays. I have no excuse really other than work and enjoying my break. I suppose my New Year's Resolution List should probably start with becoming a better blogger...
The Christmas Holidays started off with Zack and Samantha's wedding! They finally got hitched! I'm so glad I could be a part of their big day! Everything was so beautiful and Samantha didn't cry once! :) I'm so happy for them! As always, pictures from the event.

The day after the wedding, Adam & I headed down to Panama City, Florida for Christmas with my family. It was fun as always. My aunt and mother plan crazy games for us each year. One of the many and one of my personal favorites is when we all (17+ people) sit in a circle with small present boxes in our hands. My aunt then reads a story (made up by a plethora of people in the family) about our family. In the story, it may say something like "Adam did the RIGHT thing when he slipped a ring on Adrianne's LEFT finger." When we hear LEFT or RIGHT, we pass our box in that direction. Sometimes the LEFTs and RIGHTs are preceded by numbers in which we pass it that many times in that direction. This really confuses things! HA! Nonetheless, it is fun and hilarious! So what's in the boxes? Money! But, 1 box has the real goods in it. At the end of the story, one unknowingly lucky member of the family has the box that has either more money or money & gift cards to various places in it. (For the record, I have never been the lucky one. I'm not bitter.) :) In past years, we (yes, the entire family) have piled into about 5-6 different cars and drove around PC on a scavenger hunt looking for our gifts. And once, we even all went to the mall to see Santa Claus and get a picture with him. HAHA! All of us cousins tend to gripe about the games being so long or completely out of control (ie the scavenger hunt), but honestly it just wouldn't be the same without it. I love my family Christmas!

A few days later, we celebrated with my immediate family. This year, we celebrated Christmas on the 23rd instead of on Christmas Day like usual. This was due to Santa Claus' proposed visit to my nephews' house on Christmas Eve. He dropped off a few gifts for them to open on Christmas Day. At first, it was sad celebrating on a different day because things have always been the same and no one likes change. But, it wasn't so bad after all. After thinking about it, who cares what day you celebrate? I'm so blessed and thankful to have such a wonderful family to celebrate with at all! AND, despite celebrating on a different day, Santa didn't forget to stop by our house early and drop off some of these...
TICKETS TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! My parents, brothers, sister-in-law, Adam, Troy, and I are all flying out to Glendale, AZ to cheer on the Tigers! We are very excited! GOOO AUBURN! Below are more pics from Christmas. 
The next day, on Christmas Eve, I celebrated with what I like to call "my second family." Every year, I go to one of my best friend's (Jeni) house to watch her open her gifts and to exchange gifts to each other. This year was bittersweet since this was the last year we both will be single ladies and because she is moving to NEBRASKA when she gets married in April! Yes, Nebraska! I'm going to miss her so much! I foresee many trips to and from Nebraska in the future!
Finally, I headed up to Clay County on Christmas Day to celebrate with Adam's family. His family Christmas is also pretty crazy with his 6 nephews (all under the age of 7) running around! :)
It started snowing on Christmas Day! So, the next day we rode to the top of the mountain. It was so pretty! We just had to get some pictures! Two years in a row of snow in Alabama is unbelievable! And it being on Christmas Day made it that much better!
Lastly, I rounded out the 2010 year with a small get together at Adam's house. We all cooked and ate, watched football, and did some catching up. What better way to ring in the New Year with good friends!
And now, sadly I start back to school on Wednesday of this week. Only 1 semester left of pharmacy school then rotations! I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The one good thing about starting school means that at this time next week, I will be in Glendale, Arizona getting ready to cheer on the Tigers to their National Championship WIN! Waaaaar Eagle! Hey! More on that trip later! :)

A Lot of Catching Up to Do: 1 of 4 (Wedding)
Wedding Updates:
Yet again, not much to update. The October meeting was dedicated to CAKE! Adam's mother and grandmother also came to help with the Groom's cake design and to taste some cake! We designed some big and beautiful cakes, I think anyways. :) Below is a picture from the cake meeting. The November meeting was to pick out invitations. And, I have a meeting tomorrow. We will be working on the floral design and rental stuff. That's about all for wedding stuff. Until later, I'll be waiting on the arrival of my wedding dress! :)

Thanksgiving
I know I'm a little late on Thanksgiving stuff, but I just had to post. Thanksgiving is always a reminder of the blessings The Lord has given me, especially my wonderful family. Over Thanksgiving, my family celebrated my Grandmother's 80th birthday. We surprised her after our Thankgiving dinner. It was so sweet and she was so surprised. She starting crying! We wanted to do something special for her not only because it was her 80th birthday, but also because my grandfather "PaPa" passed away 2 years ago this holiday season. They were married for well over 50 years and she misses him so much. This time of the year is hard for all of us, but we remember to celebrate his life every time we are all together. Here are some pictures from her birthday celebration. My favorite is the one of Mark helping her blow out the candles. Can't wait to see everyone again for Christmas!

Amanda has been one of my very good friends for many years. Our brothers played baseball together, our Dads umpired recreation baseball together, and Amanda and I cheered together in high school. Although, I came to Auburn and she stayed in Troy, we still remained friends through the years. We could always just pick up where we left off. Now, she is married and lives in Pine Hill, Alabama which is much further than Troy :( but I am certain a few more hours away won't make any difference in our friendship! Love you Amanda! Yep, Ava Blakely Allen is almost here! A few more weeks...due in January. I helped hostess a "couples baby shower" for Leigh and Matthew a few weeks ago. Here is a picture of the girls from the shower.

I can't believe it's really here! This week is Samantha's wedding week! The past year has flown. (I think I say that in every post, but time really flies these days.) This weekend we went to Atlanta to celebrate Samantha's Last Fling before the Ring. And as always...some pics from the weekend.
I'll post again after next weekend with pics from the bridal luncheon, rehearsal, and wedding day! I'm so excited to be a part of Sam's BIG DAY! Let the wedding festivities begin!
