1st Anniversary!

At this time last year, I was anxiously getting ready to marry the man of my dreams!!! Our wedding was more than perfect in my eyes. It's hard to believe that a year has passed already!

I wish I had something profound to say about our first year of marriage, but I really don't. All I know is that I love I my husband more than the day I met him, the day we got engaged, the day we got married, and more than yesterday! I used to wonder how I could love Adam any more than I already did, but somehow I do. My love truly grows for him daily! Brad Paisley really knew what he was talking about in his song "Then."

To put things simply, our first year of marriage has been wonderful...full of living, laughing, and loving with a few bumps along the way. God has already blessed our short time of marriage in so many ways and we are continuously looking forward to what more He has in store for us!

Today, we are heading to Atlanta to spend the night then catch an early morning flight to Jamaica! We have been looking forward to our anniversary trip since we booked it several months ago! Please pray for our flights (if you know me, you know I really dislike flying) and safe travel. Of course, we will come back with tons of pictures and stories to post on the blog. Until then...

It's Official...

I'm a pharmacist! Since one of my last posts in May, I have passed both of the pharmacy boards and got licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Alabama. Words truly cannot express how accomplished I felt the day I went to meet with the ALBOP (Alabama Board of Pharmacy) to get my license. The day I graduated with my Doctorate in Pharmacy was an amazing amazing day and was also a huge accomplishment, but it means nothing without being licensed to practice.

I went straight to work the next two days after I got my license and was left alone to manage the pharmacy. When the other pharmacist left for the first time, I felt a slight panic within, but I kept my cool. I survived and more importantly the pharmacy survived while under my watch.  :) When I came home from work the second day, I looked at Adam and said "I love my job already!"  I'm so excited to finally get started in my career...doing what I do to help others and actually make a little money while doing so!
